Processing time: 1-3 business days from the time of order (this can vary depending on the season).

Transit time: After we process your order, and your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number providing delivery information. Transit time is typically 1-5 business days after the shipping carrier picks up the order from our shop.

• Garden Beds & Planter Boxes: Cedar Planters offers free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order for raised garden bed and planter box purchases. Customers can choose store credit, an exchange for a product of equal value, or a refund to the original payment method. A prepaid return shipping label will be provided upon request; please contact us to obtain the label.
• Products must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
• Items must be free of any visible signs of wear or use.
• Please ensure the return box is properly sealed before shipping.

If you have ordered Garden Grade by mistake and want to upgrade to Select Grade, we are happy to help as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet! Please contact us as soon as possible at info@cedarplanters.com.

• Accessories: Cedar Planters offers returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. Customers may choose store credit, an exchange for a product of equal value, or a refund to the
  original payment method. Return shipping costs for accessories must be covered by the customer.
• Products must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
• Items must be free of any visible signs of wear or use.
• Shipping Costs & Fees: Cedar Planters does not charge a restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is free, except for accessories. Any applicable governmental duties, tariffs, or customs fees are the customer's responsibility. If Cedar Planters is charged these fees, they may be deducted from the refund amount.
• Exceptions:
• All items must be returned in original condition and packaging.
• Items showing signs of wear or use will not be accepted.
• All custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

There is a limited 3 years + 21 days warranty for raised garden beds and planter boxes, which is compromised of 1095 days in three years plus 21 days to account for delivery. The warranty term shall commence on the date of purchase of a product on the Website. The Customer hereby understands that products shipping to Customers is made of wood, which is subject to wear and tear. For more information please see our Shipping, Return Policy, & Warranty Page.

Because liners naturally experience wear over time based on their material and how they’re used, they are considered a consumable part of the product. For this reason, liners are not included in the standard three-year limited warranty.

Orders are shipped by common courier companies such as Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc. Shipping times vary depending on your location. On average packages arrive within 1-5 days from the date they are shipped from our shop.

We ship directly from our U.S. warehouses located in New Jersey, Florida, and Ohio.

Assembly of our product is very easy! We provide the two tools and the hardware required for assembly. There is a follow-along assembly video with written and visual instructions. Check out the video instructions here!

We strongly encourage all customers to double-check their shipping address before finalizing their orders. If you discover an error in your shipping address, please email us at info@cedarplanters.com within 24 hours of placing your order. After this period, we cannot guarantee changes to the shipping address due to the high volume of orders we process and the rapid progression into the delivery process. We are not responsible for delivery issues that arise from incorrectly entered addresses. Your diligence in confirming your address details helps ensure smooth and prompt delivery of your order. We powder coat our steel legs to provide a durable and quality finish, more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing. This is a more environmentally friendly finishing choice, containing no solvents and releasing virtually no VOCs into the atmosphere. This means no need for primers that can contain toxic carcinogenic properties. Powder coating is quicker, uses less energy through recycling heated air, and creates a reduced environmental impact.

We use real Western Red Cedar for all of our planters. Cedar is nontoxic, has beautiful natural colours and grain, as well as a wonderful aroma. It thrives in damp climates, withstands many conditions, resists rot, and does not shrink, swell, warp, or decay in weather changes. Cedar allows our planters to last all four seasons in any climate. Cedar is a natural insect repellent, protecting your garden from unwanted critters.

You can plant everything from veggies, to herbs, to flowers. We provide a standard 12” planting depth that has enough root space for a variety of plants. The height of the raised garden beds make it really easy to plant.

Our planter boxes and raised garden beds have built in drainage, and excellent airflow! Therefore, adding materials such as river rocks or other stones for drainage is not needed, and actually discouraged due to the unnecessary weight of the rocks.

If you wanted to add materials to reduce the amount of soil needed, you can simply add leaves, sticks, or compostable materials such as cardboard, to the bottom of the planter box or raised garden bed. You can even use the cardboard packaging from your Cedar Planters order!
