Assembly was straightforward, but takes a little time. Once assembled, they are very sturdy and the liners make filling easy and neat. Once installed and planted, they are quite attractive. They replace some cedar planters I built 20+ years ago and are better built, so I am confident they will last and look good for a long time.

I bought three of these, I love them once they were put together, but I have to tell you that it was a struggle and not as easy as the video shows. I am a 69-year-old woman and do not have a drill or any sort of tools, but it shows everything was included. It would have gone smoothly, but on multiple parts, the pre-drilled holes did not match up at all. The best I could do is using a screwdriver to enlarge the holes large enough to fit into the legs, but multiple screws are not level to the legs because of this. This doubled or tripled the time it should have taken to put this together, so I am definitely unhappy about the pre-drilled holes. Once put together, though I do love them and hopefully they will be sturdy enough.

Live within a half mile of Southern shore Of Lake Erie. I just love it: the look, aroma of cedar, knowing how sturdy it is. THANK YOU!!! Question: any ideas whether to plant something now or wait til Spring. I’m in zone 5/6… have sunlight, at most, 50% of the day. I’m a novice gardener, although I’m 80 yo. All suggestions welcome!!! Holes are not aligned equally. Small side panel holes align, but long side don't. Had to re-drill holes in sequence with metal leg on 2nd planter.

After one year my beds are about to collapse. The legs have deteriorated, coating is bubbling, rusting through out every leg. I’m crushed this is happening - expected a much more resilient product

Simply put, the 18x48 cedar kit was easily constructed, is of very good quality, and was at a very competitive price. The steel legs are strong and should last many years. The cedar pieces were drilled ready for the hardware and even where there are the few knot holes -- I didn't opt for the premium grade -- I quickly patched those from the inside even though the included black liner would have served the purpose. With the steel legs that frame the planter it is a fairly heavy unit (though easily lifted by two persons) but that is exactly what is needed for a raised planter that will last years (compared to a plastic one the legs of which lasted one season). As pictured, this first one has been at work and it will be joined by a second one that I have happily ordered. They will be inside the garden enclosure before winter hits and ready for spring tulips. And as a last note, it was a pleasure for this American to give our good neighbors in Canada some business...and then to buy from them a second time.

I am so pleased with my planter. It was super easy to assemble. I was also grateful that there was info included for the amount of soil needed. Planted fall crops of cabbage and lettuce for the first time.

Quality is excellent and so was the packaging. Easy assembly, did it by myself in about an hour (2 18x48 planters). I have filled the planters with soil and installed a drip irrigation system. Planting will take place around mid October, when it cools down a little here in SW Florida. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for raised planters. They are also a good looking choice.

So very easy to put together. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. You can see it newly put together and empty, filled with soil, and the final one, although hard to see is a row of baby carrots that sprouted, I have a place all set out for a second planter and am anxiously waiting for it to be shipped.

I got the feet after a couple of weeks and, by then, I had planted it. There is no way to lift it fully planted. I wasted the money!

I had no problem putting the unit together by myself. I followed the instructions and put it where I wanted it near the sprinkler system. We did not fill it with dirt until we moved it. The following morning I woke up and the whole front had sunk into the yard. Thankfully, I was able to gather people to lift it so we could put a secure foundation under it. I planted three plants inside of it. All of them are still alive, but not thriving.

It's easy to assemble and looks great. I sprayed waterseal on all the surfaces before assembling. We're not using it as a planter, but as an outdoor garden sink.

I have greens, lettuce and herbs in mine and they are growing so fast. I couldn’t fit all the plants in it, I bought too many, do I planted some in pots and have kept them watered but they haven’t kept up at all with the others in my cedar box. I would love to have a cover that was only a bug screen, so plastic, for summer.
Very nice product.

Very well-made, planter boxes, easy to put together. I had to create some “squirrel cages“ to keep the squirrels out of my lettuce. I will update you when my plants get big and gorgeous. Love the planters!

It was so easy to put together. It looks well made. My husband liked it so much he told me to buy two more. Now that’s a statement. My little gardening habit is very expensive and so when he says spend more, I say why not! Gotta keep the hubby happy. Or maybe he was thinking “happy wife, happy life!”

This was perfect for me since I don't have a backyard but wanted to start growing my own food like tomatoes and basil. Next up will be lettuce (since who can trust the supply chain at this point and at least I know where mine came from7). I've had it for several months and it's been fantastic! Easy assembly and it has thus far been great outside in the elements (California summer sun and entering the rainy season). I'm very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to get into gardening regardless of their location.

Sadly it tilted some But it’s on soil a d we had some downpours. The back side is up to house. Under eaves. The front side is open to the el. Swiss chard and lettuce coming up nicely.

The boards near the top were splintered and rough. The boards near the bottom were in good condition. It was as if the person assembling the planter put the bottom on top. I had to disassemble some of the top boards and turn them upside down or move them to a lower position to make the product more useable. A couple of knotholes near the top had to be filled in with putty. This planter was not nearly as good as the first planter we bought even though they were supposed to be the same quality.

My daughter and I were able to assemble the planter in 20 mins. The quality of the wood is very good. The hardware comes in a very luxurious zippered bag. The hardware was heavy, study and high quality. We are both very pleased!
It was a little tough to put together. The front and back sides did not fit in as easily as I would have expected. I had to loosen all the bolts and use a rubber mallet to bang the slats in. It looks great now but it was not easy to put together and I have a lot of experience putting IKEA furniture and other flat packed items together.

The boxes are great!
We love the planter and made it even better. After staining the wood, my husband added locking casters and an additional support of channel iron around the bottom. We will likely set slatted boards into the channel iron to form a shelf. We live in a wind & hail prone location and are excited at the ability to just wheel the planter into the garage during storms and over winter. Otherwise it will live on a concrete pad next to the garage.
