I’m 73 and assembling things have become a struggle, but I was exceptionally pleased with how simple it was for my 18” x 48” cedar planter. And, as a lifelong woodworker, I was vey happy with the quality of the kit.
Full sized cedar boards and holes drilled perfectly for the well constructed steel legs, made this a great and easy addition to my raised bed garden.
If I can find room to squeeze one more in, I know where I’m going

Quality is excellent and so was the packaging. Easy assembly, did it by myself in about an hour (2 18x48 planters). I have filled the planters with soil and installed a drip irrigation system. Planting will take place around mid October, when it cools down a little here in SW Florida. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for raised planters. They are also a good looking choice.

Ordered two planters select grade. One of two was perfect, what you would expect with select grade cedar. But the floor boards on the second planter had one side that appeared to have manufacturing issues with the planer operation. They did agree to replace them, but since only one side was affected I decided to keep them.
All in all a very nice cedar planter for the price.

Love these planters. I bought two of the longest ones and put them together with absolutely no problem. My husband died so it’s all up to me now. It was a little tough to put together. The front and back sides did not fit in as easily as I would have expected. I had to loosen all the bolts and use a rubber mallet to bang the slats in. It looks great now but it was not easy to put together and I have a lot of experience putting IKEA furniture and other flat packed items together.

It took a while to get them but are very easy to assemble.. my problem is with the soil I used in them . The top layer is garden soil instead of potting mix. I'm the top soli for potting mix and believe there is time to raise some lettuce and spinach .

I’m absolutely obsessed with this cedar planter!! I didn’t realize until after I got it how great cedar is compared to other wood (30+ year lifetime, naturally resistant to many bugs, no chemicals use on wood, etc.) but that makes me love it even more! Assembly was very easy and straightforward—took me less than 20 minutes (with multiple child-distractions, so could def be quicker) and all the holes aligned perfectly as I put each piece together. And this raised garden bed is STUNNING! I almost feel guilty because my yard is nowhere near pretty enough for it! I cannot recommend this planter enough!!

I bought 2 of the 18x48 planters. I sealed them Cabot's Australian Timber Oil, and they look beautiful. I've just pu them in position and will be adding the soil any day now, when I have some spare time.
I intend to grow climbing fruit and vegetables in them on the deck around my pool. Everything grows in pots (and now planters), as I have no exposed ground to plant anything.
My only suggestion as to what could make the assembly even smoother is for you to consider allowing slightly more room (maybe as little as 1/8") between the end timber guide pieces and the pre-drilled hole. In a couple of instances, I had to gouge some wood to allow room for the nut to fit/turn.
But otherwise, no complaints.

I took more than 5 minutes to put them together for sure. A socket wrench helps instead of using the wrench that comes with them. They went together pretty well and I seen them before I put them together. It would be nice to get the raised bed book together with them instead of having to buy it. I bought four of them and I'm going to see how I experience them. I'm going to grow garlic in October and hopefully it comes up in june.

This planter is absolutely beautiful and was easy to assemble! And it was such a pleasure to buy from a small, independent company that actually cares about customer service! I needed the planter for a house I was putting on the market and, when the timing got too tight, customer service managed to shuffle their shipping schedule to assure it arrived early enough to plant and display right at the entry for first impressions. I was simultaneously dealing with a dozen lighting orders from the big online suppliers which was a nightmare. The wood is high quality Cedar. I am a female,over 60 yrs old, and was able to easily put it together by myself in under an hour! All the holes that were pre-drilled matched perfectly! Now I just have to put soil in it and start growing!!

It was very difficult to put together and there were random weird cuts on pieces inside that make me worry about the long-term stability of it so I don't think I would recommend this to anyone.
