The planter is awesome. Easy assembly. Nice quality. Better liner than advertised.
The delay between ordering and shipping was unacceptable. Week(s) to generate paperwork then week(s) to actually ship with no easy way to follow up or ask questions. No reply to voice mail after ordering.
I would like additional planters but don't think I'll order from you again.

bottom hole each side does not line up with black "feet. we might try to drill new holes in the wood.
rough, splintered little short boards for the bottom, some with large splinters gone. directions don't say if there should be narrow gaps or just gap at each end. where should plank placement on the very bottom be placed for what gaps for water to drain out? I varnished 3 times all pieces only to see at end of directions the short planks are the very bottom so I wasted varnish.
given these problems I should be given a discount, a partial credit for faulty parts and hole misalignment. I doubt you will give a full refund and pay for return shipment, and that wastes several hours of assembly and cans of spray varnish.

Planted as tiny plants less than 3 weeks ago. Good rains, lots of sun. The hill is covered with Dutch white clover so photos don't show plants well. Have two more planters that will hold flowers.

Putting the planter together was a mediocre experience. It wasn’t horrible and wasn’t great. Completed it in a couple of hours. Most of the bolts were tightened flush without issue. Some needed extra attention to tighten them flush. The planter is together, soil, plants installed. I look forward to how it holds up in Pa. winters.

I stained the outside with minwax red mahogany 225. Then used the oil purchased from your company. They turned out beautiful and look great with my dark red mahogany beams. They’re sturdy and heavy so they make a good barrier for the edge of my concrete.

Just finished assembling it and there’s no way a normal person assembling this for the first time is getting it done in 10 minutes, as the seller claims. More like 90 minutes for me yesterday. I’m not a carpenter but I’m not inept. I’d advise using written instructions on the PDF rather than the video bc it’s hard to see which direction the screws should go in on the video. Both video and written instructions available from QR code included in hardware pouch

Love my raised cedar planters, they're gorgeous. Just planted flowers in the 11.5" x 48" boxes and vegetables in the 18" x 48" planter boxes. Can't wait until vegies are coming in and my flowers are beautiful. They were easy to assemble.

I was looking forward to assembling the planter, but my husband did it while I was out. I put in the liner and the potting soil and the plants, mostly herbs and some zinnias to stand by my back door. Easy and pretty.

Honestly these raised beds have exceeded my expectations. They are easy to assemble. The video instructions are so helpful, and the predrilled holes actually lineup!!! I love these planters! I am very happy with my purchase even though it was delivered later than expected. Luckily I ordered early. I bought 4 of them. 2 for my deck and 2 for a sunny spot at the side of my house. I am growing mostly vegetables and herbs with a few annuals thrown in for a bit of color. The hight makes it easy to maintain and keeps the bunnies away. They are very solid and relatively easy to construct with good quality nuts and bolts. At first I was concerned about the volume of soil I would need to fill them, but the instructions said to rip up the cardboard box and put it in the bottom, worked great. I just bought covers covers for 2 boxes so that I can plant earlier next year.

I like this planter and currently have pansies in it on my covered front porch. They get morning sun, so they should thrive. When the planter arrived we put it together fairly easily -- only one screw didn't line up but we fixed that. Also, although this was "select" grade cedar, two small knots fell out of their holes during assembly -- no rough handling or anything. They just came out. I was very surprised and not pleased. I glued them back in. It took us about an hour to put together, and my husband is very handy and has all tools. The cedar is sanded fairly smooth, looks quite good, and the black iron structure seems very sturdy. I'm glad I bought select grade; hate to think what regular would be like. Shipping was quick once I asked where my order was after one month.

I received my 18” x 48” planter yesterday & assembled it this morning. I’m 71 years old & had it assembled within an hour, with a few rest breaks ( have had 2 knee replacements, so needed to rest from kneeling). Very impressed at the quality ( I ordered the garden quality). Seems much better quality than the ones I have seen in stores locally. I may need to order another one next year! So very happy with this company and my purchase!

Was worried this would feel too big in my deck, but the 24 inch fit perfectly. Cuts down the clutter of mini tables and multiple pots, and was so nice to plant while standing up! Assembly was fine, but not quite as easy to get the angle for the wrench as I’d hoped and the holes were well aligned but not clean cut out. That’s my only reason to drop a Star.

Love our new 36” garden grade box but am concerned about one of the slats on the bottom. It has a fairly large knot HOLE and am hoping that it doesn’t get any larger or cause splitting once the weight of the soil is added. Other than that the imperfections aren’t worth worrying about as it’s very rustic looking anyway. Couldn’t be happier with the box and the customer service. Great company to work with!
