Our handyman put it together in about 35 minutes. We used the insert and planted two cherry tomato plants, two mini sweet pepper plants and a pickling bush cucumber plant. Everything is growing nicely and starting to flower. Can’t wait to harvest!

A wonderful product, shipped with care and put together within an hour. The wood is in great shape, the extra care to ensure the metal pieces come unscratched works well. The only add-on I might suggest is to send a couple of washers to use when the nut begins to sink too far into the wood, preventing the bolt from coming through the slot easily. The washer brings the bolt through if aligned with the opening. THANKS

Took a few days for the UV Protection oil to dry, but once dried, the assembly was easy. Even with there was quite a bit of nuts and bolts, my experience was it was totally manageable and fast.
It was suggested to coat the exterior with the UV protection product to protect and enrich the wood color and character. It does look very nice. The oil product supposed to reduce aging also... only time will tell. Will report about this in a year.

First one( out of 3 diff sizes) took me about 40 minutes on the livingroom floor. Predrilled holes in sides are perfectly in alignment with metal legs. I used a long socket 7/16" on my drill and quickly tightened all 20 bolts/ nuts lickety split. The 2nd larger unit took 20 minutes, the 3rd is still in shipping box waiting to be opened. Good quality product, strong finished construction. We like our gardens and impressed with the quality.

The planters are yet to be assembled and put to use. I'm waiting for spring to place them on a newly installed patio which was completed late October. They arrived in timely manner and I see no obvious damage to the boxes, so I'm expecting them to be in good condition and meet my expectations when I finally have an opportunity to assemble them.

This went together to easily and quickly, and filled the room with the wonderful cedar smell! It looks so pretty in my yard--I have it up against my house and sheltered by a huge pine tree. Because there isn't much room in my yard for gardens, I decided to use the cedar planter for three shade, bee, and butterfly loving native plants in larger pots. Right now everything is covered with almost a foot of snow, so we'll see how everything winters--but I'm very optimistic!

Planter boxes were easy to assemble but took a little time, maybe 30-40 minutes per box. Haven’t planted anything yet but will soon. Delivery was substantially delayed at the U. S. border for some unknown reason. Don’t blame you folks for that. Who knows? Bottom line…beautiful planters of good quality and value. Just ordered three more. Look forward to many years of use.

I absolutely love my new planter! I fits perfectly on my deck, and can hold a good amount of flowering plants that I can enjoy both from the house and outside. I purchased the smaller 24” size, and I painted it with 2 coats of the Osmo Protection oil. The oil really brings out the glow of the wood! I bought the optional feet and it gives it a nice finished look on the deck. Love it!

Shipping went smoothly. Assembly was done by my husband who chose to use his own wrench because of arthritis. Also, all that I have received of my second order are pieces of black metal. I think they might be the feet(?). When should I expect the rest of the order?

I put this together late in the fall and decided to wait until spring to fill it with dirt. A couple of days ago heavy wind gusts blew it off the deck. It looks like there's no damage. As soon as it warms up enough to walk on the snow I'm going to put it back up on the deck. I'm now thinking of buying another one too.
